I had surgery in January last year, and up to now, 23 months later, I’m very satisfied.
The advantages are no dry eyes and quick recovery, and the downside seems to be the price. I do sometimes notice the ring phenomenon when I’m conscious of it, but it almost doesn’t bother me.
There was some pain during surgery and on the first day. From the second day, it felt like the foreign-body sensation and pain you get when you put in contact lenses incorrectly, and the glare almost disappeared too! From the third day, almost all the pain was gone, so that was good.
I also had my vision checked during a health exam last week, and both eyes came out at 1.2, so it seems to be maintaining well.
