@1 week after surgery@ My bruising and swelling were so severe that I couldn’t even open my eyes, and it was really a mess lol. Because of the swelling and the splint, I couldn’t even get a sense of how the surgery had turned out, so I think I just spent each day diligently applying warm/cold compressesㅠㅠ I didn’t eat anything salty and only slept in a chair, so it was really hard lolㅠㅠ
@3 weeks after surgery@ Even up until week 2, there was no sign that the bruising would go away, so I was worried, but thankfully, by week 3 it all disappeared haha. Around this time, almost all the post-op pain had gone away too!
@1 month after surgery@ I tend to swell a lot, and since my eyes were done through an incisional method, even at one month my eyes still looked slightly like I’d had surgery, but my nose and the fat-grafted areas had mostly settled, so I was able to go out to some extent.
@2 months after surgery@ It was later than other people, but this is when I finally saw the lightㅠㅠ The eye swelling was at a level that could be covered with makeup to some extent, and picking my nose was no problem haha. Before then, when I laughed, my nostrils felt tight, so I laughed like “hohoho,” but after two months, even “hahaha” was possible.
@3 months after surgery@ Now the eye swelling has almost all gone down, so except for my female friends who are interested in plastic surgery, people don’t really notice that I had surgery! Honestly, at first the swelling was so severe that even my mom said it was scary, so I was worried, but as time passed, I couldn’t be happierㅠㅠ My nose was originally such a huge bulbous nose that I didn’t have high expectations, but now the compliment I hear most often is that my nose is pretty haha.
I struggled a lot because of the swelling and was really anxious, but as expected, time seems to be the answerㅠㅠ Now I’m so satisfied because I really think it turned out well haha.
