After <3-4 months> and recently, many comments are asking how the nose is now, so I’ll write it down. First, the surgery was done in my 40s, and I used ear cartilage to raise only the nasal tip. Functionally there are no problems at all, but the only discomfort is, as I mentioned in a previous post, that the nose feels hard. I thought I’d adjusted to it, but it still catches my attention from time to time.ㅎ Even in terms of shape, there are parts I still regret. I wanted a rounded-tip nose. For several months after surgery, it was roughly the shape I wanted. But as time passed and the swelling resolved, it became sharply pointy very quickly. The tip also drooped much more than I expected. Some people may like this appearance, but it is very different from my personal aesthetic sense, so I want to correct it. Right now I’m trying to leave it as is, because I’m afraid if I touch it, it could create a functional issue. I’ve kind of given up for now. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Later, if it still bothers me too much, I’m also considering complete removal then. Anyway, the overall satisfaction seems to be around 65–70%. The fact that there are no side effects is already something. In fact, no matter which hospital you choose, rhinoplasty seems hard to be 100% satisfying because there are many variables, both in appearance and function. If you can avoid doing it, that is best, but if you do end up having rhinoplasty, I hope you can choose a procedure you’re satisfied with after carefully considering all aesthetic side effects.
