One side of the buried-suture double eyelid I had 4 years ago has completely come undone, so I went for revision surgery consultations. Where do you think would be good?
The look I want is: 1. Not too different from the double eyelid that still remains on one side now. 2. I don’t want an incision, and I absolutely want it to look natural. 3. Since I’m coming from out of town, the earliest possible surgery date.

Compared with the other two places, the doctor was a bit more blunt. Even though I’m only getting buried suture, it seemed like they basically also check for epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty. They said a small amount of fat removal would be needed, and the consultant felt like she was somewhat encouraging me to make a reservation. When I said I was planning to visit other places too, she said they could match the price a bit with other places, and it seemed like surgery was possible on an early date.

Both the director and the consultant were so kind. They only checked exactly what was needed, and said it seemed like buried suture alone would be enough. The line they designed was so pretty that I wondered, “Is this why everyone says to go to lots of consultations?” They said I don’t need to have stitches removed and can return to daily life right away. (For this part, I’m curious about reviews from anyone who has had buried suture here ㅠㅠ Do you really not need to have stitches removed?) The consultant was extremely kind, and it seemed like surgery would be possible on the earliest possible date.

Here too, both the director and the consultant were kind, but they were firm on the price. They only checked exactly what was needed, said fat removal wasn’t necessary, and said buried suture alone should be enough. The line they designed was okay. When I said I was considering Botox because of wrinkles on my forehead and between my brows + a habit of using my forehead muscles, they said if I got both at once, I might not have enough strength to open my eyes, so they recommended getting only one of the two this time. Surgery is possible sometime next week.
The parts I’m debating after the consultations are: 1. I’m leaning away from this one a bit because of the fat removal. 2. They were kind and the line was pretty, but I’m wondering if it’s really true that stitches don’t need to be removed. 3. I’m debating because it’s 300,000 won more expensive than the others.
Since I strongly feel that fat around the eyes will go away anyway as I get older, I don’t really want to remove fat right now. I’m leaning toward 2 or 3, but where do you think would be good?
