Hi everyone!! This is my first time writing a surgery review, and since it’s the end of the year and there isn’t really anything to do.. I’ve also had my revision surgery, so I thought I’d try writing a review and just let it flow.. First, I live outside Seoul..ㅎㅎㅎㅎ The reason I first started looking into breast revision surgery was because after my first surgery, the asymmetry was so severe. You can probably tell from the pre-op photos, but my left breast and right breast looked like they each had different personalities..ㅋㅋㅋ They were breasts I couldn’t confidently show bare anywhere.. So while I was saving up for the revision surgery cost, I just hid them and lived with them, and as soon as I had a lump sum saved, I immediately started looking for hospitals ㅎ.ㅎ
I also have a thin body type (I’m 160 cm tall and weigh about 46 kg) and I haven’t had a strong desire for size since long ago, so what I considered most important when looking at revision surgery hospitals was not whether they could make them as big as possible, but <definitely natural> and <whether they could correct the ruined shape of my current breasts> (whether they had abundant surgical know-how) <whether it was a hospital that performs surgery safely!> I think I especially prioritized things like these When I was young, especially because of arrhythmia, I took medication and had surgery too.. So I became really, really, really, really, really sensitive about issues directly connected to safety >,< And as I looked through hospitals, honestly the options outside Seoul were too narrow, and it seemed hard to find a breast clinic that fit exactly what I wanted, so even though it was far, I went all the way to Seoul, did the legwork, and had consultations, and that’s how I found ㄱㄹ Surgery!! What I liked most was that the operating room looked so, so <<<<safe>>>>..... The consultant also explained things very well, but even when I went onto the website after the consultation and reread the explanations, it was so well organized -Clean room (controls? airborne particles, air humidity, and temperature so they are kept constant) -Full CCTV recording and showing it to the patient afterward (you know there are so many places that don’t show it..?? Almost all outside Seoul.ㅎ) -Safe anesthesia in 5 stages, not just basic anesthesia (anesthesia that considers oxygen saturation, heart rate/pulse, blood pressure, as well as end-tidal carbon dioxide + anesthetic concentration) -The director is a breast surgery specialist. (When checking post-op progress, he even did all the dressings himself) It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say these four things really swayed my heart.. Still, I went all the way to Seoul with high hopes, and I can’t tell you how relieved I was to find a hospital I likedㅋㅋ After going through all that trouble, what would I have done if I hadn’t found one..ㅜㅎ Honestly, even while looking into revision surgery, every time I received a consultation with my breast photos up, I always wondered why the surgery had turned out like that, but after having surgery this time through Director Oh’s hands, I understood It was simply a difference in the hospital’s skill..ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Surprisingly, the post-op photos are from day 10 Even the implants are the same (since I didn’t want them bigger), and because of the asymmetry, the director diagnosed that I needed inframammary fold lowering, and the same implants were used Before revision surgery: Mentor Extra, inframammary incision, 280cc After revision surgery: Mentor Extra, inframammary incision, 280cc Both are dual-plane.
But I didn’t know results could come out this different.. After removing the bandages, I blinked so many times.. That’s why I thought you really need to have surgery from a doctor with a lot of surgical experience I keep thinking these days that if I had just had it done where I live.. I might have just wasted money and become someone full of regret. Of course, there are many great doctors outside Seoul too. But it’s a fact that there are far more hospitals in Seoul.
Every time I go to the hospital, they take such good care of me, and the consultant, who always examines my breasts more meticulously than I do, like my own older sister.. I’m so grateful, and I’m also very, very grateful to the director for opening a new breast life for me..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I hope from now on I can keep this shape as it is and stay with them for a long, long timeㅎㅎ
Ah, for reference! They feel much softer than before too!!! So fascinating. Even though it’s only day 10, I keep touching them whenever I have a moment, and they really are softer than before. I guess the feel can also improve depending on the director’s skill.
Seeing how satisfied I am, I think maybe.......... I used this year’s Christmas luck on my breast revision surgery. I’m so happy!!!! ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
