For revision rhinoplasty, they use rib cartilage a lot, right? Are the cases where they use rib cartilage the ones where the septal cartilage and ear cartilage have already been used and can’t be reused, or is rib cartilage recommended for noses where there’s a limit to shaping the line with septal or ear cartilage? I’m looking into it because I’m disappointed that my nasal tip has dropped. I’m thinking of checking out Woㄴ, Roㄱ, and Ppeulㄹ in person. For my first surgery, I used ear cartilage and septal cartilage together, so does that mean I’d probably need rib cartilage?

도미노핫 Rib cartilage has strong support and is easy to shape, so it’s commonly used in revisions. The clinic list looks fine already, so go out and check places in person.
아비 Personally, I don’t think using rib cartilage in the first surgery is bad compared with using it during a revision. I had it done with autologous costal cartilage without problems, you know… If the drooping tip bothers you, consider autologous costal cartilage too.
furi You need to be careful with rib cartilage. It’s best to ask the hospital for detailed info. That area can develop chest scarring.
