Before<Nose surgery before>Before<Nose surgery before>After<Nose surgery after>After<Nose surgery after>After<Nose surgery after>Just from looking at my pre-op photos, you can tell, but I had a really severe hooked nose, you know? People with a severe hump do NOT only look noticeable from the side. It stands out so much from the front too, yep.
My nose was exactly like that, so from the front it looked like it drooped down sharply, like what people often call a Squidward nose. Honestly, I had thought about nose surgery, but my nose made it so obvious that the bone would have to be touched.. so because I was scared it might go wrong + worried about possible side effects, I couldn’t easily feel sure about it.
But I knew shading would never improve it lol, and I also knew fillers wouldn’t last very long, so I ended up getting nose surgery. Since I was going to do it anyway, I think I really wanted to have it done at a proper clinic.
When I looked up reviews, I focused on whether they were really good at improving hooked noses and whether they designed noses in a natural-yet-refined way! Places that just gave a rough explanation and ended things there, I didn’t even go for a consultation ^^ I’m investing my own time to go, so I wondered, do I really need to go there just to hear that kind of explanation? This was also a clinic I found because it was known for hooked-nose surgery, and the director recommended a nose line that would suit my facial proportions. Since they explained while looking at my CT scan, first I thought, wow, my hump really is severe.. and second, I got so excited about the design the director planned for me that I became sure I should get surgery here.
Now I’m one month post-op! (The photos are also from the one-month mark~) Compared to when the splint was first removed, a lot of the swelling has gone down, so I feel like the line from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip has become much clearer. In the beginning, I had quite a lot of swelling (even the inside of my nose was swollen ㅜㅜ), so breathing felt a bit stuffy, but now I’m breathing just fine through both sides ^^ As expected, with plastic surgery, waiting it out is the answer.. That said, I just like my nose so much now that I think I could even go through that whole thing again haha..
It’s still only been one month, so I’m planning to wait and see as more time passes~ If the residual swelling keeps going down smoothly, it’ll become even slimmer, right? If I’d known I’d be this satisfied, I should’ve just done it a few years earlier lol. After getting my nose done, people around me also say I look much more feminine and that it suits me well, so it really feels like the money was worth it... hehe
