First, to introduce myself, I’m a woman in my late 20s who has a severe high hump nose and complete monolids (I open my eyes with forehead strength, so I have fine forehead wrinklesㅠ), and I want to do my eyes and nose at once... (TMI) Sometimes when I see people post saying they have a hump nose, most of them make me think, by my standards, ‘This is a hump nose...?’ and I’ve also been asked whether my nose became like that because I injured it.. (Even thinking about it now makes me mad..)
I pursue extreme naturalness, and at most, something naturally glamorous? glamorous? (Honestly, I don’t really know this standardㅠ) For the nose, I prefer straight / straight with a slight curve; for the eyes, I prefer an inline / thin in-out line. My biggest concern was the hump, so my clinic visits/online research and consultations focused more on the nose than the eyes.
I had consultations at 2 places in April (ㅈㅇㅈ, ㅍㄹㅁㅇ), and 3 places in December (ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ, ㅂ, ㅇㅂㄹ). I’m a bit of an over-talker, so I’ll split the posts up!!
--- 1. ㅈㅇㅈ (Director ㄱㄱㅇ) - Nonhyeon - Consultation fee: none (temporary reservation deposit 10,000 won) - Consultation: consultant - director - consultant - CT scan: X - Other: general anesthesia (anesthesiologist present), CCTV available (they said I could watch it, but I don’t remember exactly..) - Follow-up care: nose sebum removal
- Eyes: incisional double eyelid surgery (inline), ptosis correction - Nose: hump nose, osteotomy, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, crushed cartilage to slightly fill the glabella
This place is famous for men’s eye surgery, but the reason I went here for my first consultation was because a male acquaintance said he was going for an eye consultation, so I just followed along...ㅎ So honestly I didn’t research it much, and just went to get a feel for it. But the wait was really, really... long... Since the two of us went together, we endured it by chatting... If I had been alone, it would have been really hard...
There was no CT scan, and the director personally put his hand into my nose to diagnose it (it hurt a little...) He took a side photo of my nose with a tablet, drew on the photo, and explained how he would operate.
For the eyes, the line was also reasonably satisfying.
I was told the eyes weren’t difficult, but the nose was difficult.
This was the only place where the consultant was also present during the director consultation and listened to the whole consultation. When the director was creating the line, the consultant clapped, and during the final consultation with the consultant, she said it seemed like it would turn out well and asked whether I would consider being a full-face model...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Also, they gave me a densely filled A4 sheet organizing the estimate, aftercare, CCTV, anesthesia, and so on, so it was nice that I didn’t need to take notes... (I left the consultation paper at my parents’ home, so I don’t remember more details..ㅠ)
The consultation was okay and the price was better than expected, so I wondered if I should just do it here, but there were somewhat few female cases, and it wasn’t a place famous for hump nose correction, so I hesitated.
There was no consultation fee, but there was a kind of reservation deposit where if you pay 10,000 won as a temporary reservation, they keep the estimate you received then unchanged until the end of that year. There was no pressure, but because the consultation was better than expected, I paid it. They said if I don’t end up having surgery there, they would refund it if I contact them to cancel within this year, but I’m too lazy + timid, so I still haven’t gotten it back. (The acquaintance who went with me had surgery here and is living satisfied.)

I didn’t really research this place well either. Since I’m from outside Seoul, I wanted to get one more consultation while I was in Seoul, so I booked just any hospital whose name I had heard a lot and that had availability. But seeing posts in this community these days, did this place go downhill..? Or not..?
This place said the opposite of ㅈㅇㅈ: that the nose was easy and the eyes were difficult... For the nose, they quickly explained a general non-implant hump nose surgery method and said it wasn’t a difficult case. For the eyes, since the outer corners of my eyes are droopy, they said that to properly cover it, double eyelid surgery plus a brow lift would be best. But because I’m in my 20s, they couldn’t actively recommend it, and said to first do double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction and later decide based on preference whether to do a lift, or just do the lift.
But what I didn’t like was that they never once made a double eyelid line for me... Both directors who consulted on my eyes and nose seemed completely exhausted during the consultation, and each came in and the consultation ended in 5 minutes? less than 10 minutes. So I already wasn’t planning to do it here, but that made me even more certain. The consultation fee felt wasted...
