This was my third revision eye surgery… I had incisional double eyelid surgery to lower the line + ptosis correction 7 days ago, and I really hoped this would be my last time, you know? But even before getting the stitches removed, I feel like I’m already seeing several side effects, so it’s been really mentally exhaustingㅠㅠ When I close my eyes, a strange vertical wrinkle forms near the inner corner of my eye. My right eye is okay, but I don’t know if my left eye was overcorrected because I have symptoms of lagophthalmos.. The back part closes completely, but the front part lifts up like a fish shape, so the white of my eye shows. Is there any chance this will go back to normal..? My left eye had severe multiple creases and the ptosis correction had also come undone, so my eyes were very uneven, and I got surgery again to balance them out. If I knew this would happen, I wonder if I should have just left it as it was. This is really so hard. I heard that with ptosis correction, especially incisional, you have to wait and see, but I can’t stop looking in the mirrorㅜㅜ
Is there anyone whose lagophthalmos after incisional ptosis correction improved over time..?
