It has already been four months since I had liposuction on my upper arms. It feels like just yesterday that I was researching surgery, but time really flies lol. My arm circumference was 35.2 cm before surgery, and it is now 27.9 cm—a total reduction of 7.3 cm. The change I feel when getting dressed seems much greater than the numbers suggest. Clothes that used to be too tight around my arms are now loose, and I can comfortably wear sleeveless tops and halter necks that reveal my arms. Looking back, I don't think what I wanted was simply to reduce my arm circumference by a few centimeters. It was being able to dress without hiding my arms, not having to zoom in on my upper arms after taking photos, and not having to give up clothes I wanted to wear because of my upper arms. In the end, these small changes in everyday life were what felt most significant to me. Of course, liposuction does not produce the same results for everyone, and this is only my personal experience, but I am satisfied that I was able to lessen a complex I had carried for a long time. The best part is that this change continues in my daily life haha.
