I really hated my protruding cheekbones and hump nose... Honestly, if I could, I wanted to sand them down with sandpaper... I could cover my eyes with double-eyelid glue and fix my skin with makeup, but there was nothing I could do about my cheekbones and hump nose.
I visited 3 clinics. It was also the early days of COVID then, so I was a bit scared to go around to too many places in person, so I just did a lot of online research, and among the 3 clinics I really wanted to visit, I decided to have surgery at the last one. The clinic where I had surgery was one I had often seen on YouTube too, so when I met the director, I felt strangely familiar with himㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
During the consultation, the director said that since I was doing my nose and facial contouring, adding fat grafting together would suit my face really well. After comparing the photos taken with the camera before the consultation, it was clear that aside from my hump nose and cheekbones, my face was flat and lacked dimension. They said that doing fat grafting together during surgery would make my face look even more youthful, so that’s how I decided on the surgery. The consultant was so pretty tooㅜㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ Her face was so tiny, and somehow she was so pretty... On the day of surgery, I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d beㅋㅋㅋㅋ I also had a friend around me who’d had facial contouring, and she told me not to be too scared, so right up until fasting started the day before, we ate a looot of gopchang togetherㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Even right before surgery, I wasn’t that scared. So the nurses actually asked me if I wasn’t nervousㅋㅋㅋㅋ I just thought, once I go to sleep and wake up, it’ll be over~ how much could it hurt even if it does hurt~ and had the surgery... The first day... it hurt... I had a pain-control injection, but it felt so sore and heavyㅜㅠㅠㅠ It really felt like I’d been hit in the face with a frying pan... And since I also had fat grafting, they harvested fat from my thigh, and that hurt too. Going to the bathroom was so painful... And my throat... maybe because of the anesthesia, my throat was so dry, scratchy, and stingingㅠㅠㅠ Before surgery, I went in really bravely, but once the surgery was over, it was seriously unbearableㅋㅋㅋㅠㅠㅠㅠ But looking back now, I think doing everything at once was actually the right answer. The swelling started going down quickly after the stitches were removed and I could walk a bit. Since I did my nose and facial contouring together, I had no sense of smell at first, couldn’t open my mouth, and was in pain, so I lost my appetite completely and lost 4 kg...ㄷ The photos right after surgery are too gross, so I really can’t bring myself to upload themㅜㅜㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The major swelling is all gone, but there is still some minor swelling left. They say this will keep going down even up to 6 months and 1 year! I’m so satisfied with the surgery! My face has become so smooth and my side profile is pretty too, soㅜㅠㅠㅠ I’m moved every time I look in the mirror..! I think the director has a really good eye. When I looked at review photos too, I never saw photos where too much had been shaved down. I really think he operated safely, in a style that suits each person.
The sensation in my chin is also gradually coming back! I didn’t feel any gum tightness at all, which many people worry about. Once more swelling goes down, I’ll come back with a 6-month review^^
