First of all, I didn’t go to that many consultations. I went to 2 places, so I’m leaving reviews of those two. The reason I decided to get nose surgery was because my friend had it done at ㅇㅈ in Daegu and it turned out so well, so from the beginning I had my mind set on ㅇㅈ no matter what. But after seeing another friend’s result too, I realized it depends on the person. One turned out well, but another one barely looked different. I find going around to lots of consultations extremely bothersome, so I went to the most famous places.
First, ㅇㅈ-ㅊㄷㅅ The price was really good. 2.7 million KRW (silicone, ear cartilage, septal cartilage) And the doctor seemed a bit tired, should I say? ㅜㅜ He looked exhausted. Since my short nose is my weak point, I asked how that part could be improved, and he said there’s a limit to how much it can be lowered. But he said it probably wouldn’t be dramatic. The older girl who went with me also had a revision surgery consultation, and when she asked if he could improve nostril asymmetry, he said it would be a little difficult. Yeah. First of all, I was very satisfied with the price. Looking at reviews, the noses that turned out well really did turn out well, but there didn’t seem to be many successful cases for upturned noses.
ㅇㅇㅈ Maybe because the doctor here is a Daegu native, he has that Gyeongsang-do style. I thought someone from Seoul might feel hurt if they got a consultation here. The older girl who went with me was like, hmm... she kind of argued with him and came out. That’s how straightforward he is, and he clearly tells you when something is impossible. An acquaintance of mine also had surgery here and her nose looked pretty, so I came for a consultation. He seems that confident about noses. But ㅠ what bothered me a bit was that he said he decides what materials to use after opening up the nose. The cost is the same, but I didn’t really understand why the price is the same whether he uses them or not. He said he uses these three: ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and donated costal cartilage. Since this is my first surgery, honestly I didn’t want to go as far as donated costal cartilage, so hearing that he would decide after opening it up made me quite concerned. And the price seemed like whatever the nurse quoted was the price ㅜ Someone who came in with the same case as me did it for 3.5 million KRW, but I was quoted up to 4.3 million KRW. Honestly, my short nose isn’t even that severe, and he said it wasn’t a difficult case, but I thought, the price differs this much and it’s this expensive? ㅜ
