This is my 3-month review after receiving secondary epicanthoplasty restoration from Director Song Seung-wook at a plastic surgery clinic!
In March this year, I had epicanthoplasty restoration at another hospital, but I felt it had not been restored properly, and I felt like it was coming undone, so 6 months later, in September, I had secondary restoration done at another clinic haha
As you can see in my pre-op photos, my left eye in particular had severe scar tissue, and since this was not my first surgery, I was very worried.. I originally had a lot of lacrimal caruncle exposure, but my glabella distance was not exactly close either, so while maintaining the glabella distance as much as possible, I most wanted to improve 1) my eyes not closing completely when I closed them 2) the scar at the inner corner of my eye, and I think it turned out well!
Because it was a secondary restoration, and because I really did not have much extra skin and had a lot of scar tissue, I am truly satisfied even with this much change!! The eye dryness has also improved quite a lot, so my quality of life has gone up.. haha
It has only been 3 months, so if I do not wear any makeup, it is still a little noticeable, but this part is gradually improving, and when I go to the hospital for progress checks, they also give me regenerative injections, so I think it will get even better!
Also, if I cover the epicanthoplasty area well while doing makeup, it really looks natural, and there is an effect as if the under-eye area has filled in, so I am not too bothered by it haha
I will take good care of it until the 6-month mark and bring another review!
