I saw a review on Instagram Reels saying they had philtrum reduction with plasma, and that it was not surgery but a non-incisional laser treatment that shrinks the surface of the skin, improves the skin, and shortens the philtrum, so I went to get it.
(I couldn’t register the post because the name of this center can’t be searched in reviews...)
It was near my home, the reviews were really good, and they said it was a new technology. Also, the director had posted photos of doing a laser called plasma on their own face and reducing the philtrum, so I went ahead and got it, thinking the downtime would be about 2 weeks.
But what do you know, even after 3 weeks my skin was burned like that, and even now, almost a year later, pigmentation still remains. If you ever see an ad for something called plasma on Instagram, absolutely do not get it!!!!! Warning: disturbing photo ㅠㅠ I went through so much emotional distress. I want to sue, but because I had already agreed in the initial consent form that I would not hold them responsible in case of side effects, it has no effect.
Sympathy emoticon
