I had rhinoplasty when I was 20 without even looking up any information, and I really didn’t like it, so I had revision surgery. In my first surgery, cartilage and silicone were inserted, but the cartilage placed in the nasal tip gradually drooped downward. I also disliked the foreign-body sensation from the silicone itself, so for the revision surgery, I decided on a plan to lift only the nasal tip without silicone. Overall, I’m satisfied, but during the revision surgery, the doctor said it would look prettier if I added just a little silicone. At the time, I really hated the idea of putting in silicone, so I only used septal cartilage and other cartilage. Now I think, “Ah, it might have been nice if I had raised it just a little back then,” but anyway, I don’t think I’ll touch my nose again.
