Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

It’s been one month since my revision rhinoplasty. How does it look?

<1 month><1 month><Before><Before>It has been one month since I had revision rhinoplasty.

Because it was an extremely difficult nose surgery, I wanted to have it done at a place that only handles noses, so I searched hard through apps and cafes, and focused on what kinds of noses they actually operate on most often. As I applied to several places and had consultations, they clearly addressed the parts I wanted to fix and the areas I was worried about, so I decided on ㅇㅊㅂ. When I had my first surgery, they used donated costal cartilage and silicone, but from the moment the splint came off, I was like, “Huh?” The effect was minimal, and the upturned nose and bulbous nose that had been my complexes were not improved at all.

This time, fortunately, the upturned-nose look has disappeared a lot, and I think I’ve completely escaped the bulbous nose. According to the director, my columella was sunken, which made it look like an upturned nose. He said the skin around the columella was thin and weak, and that I also lacked tissue inside my nose, so he performed a graft as well.

It has been one month since surgery, but because the nostril asymmetry still needs to be corrected, they say I still need the plastic support. I don’t wear it when I go out, only at home.

I think pain from autologous costal cartilage varies by person. My nose didn’t hurt, but the autologous costal cartilage pain was significant. It improved a lot in less than 4 days, and I think it disappears completely after about a month. It was an extremely difficult revision rhinoplasty, and the surgery cost was definitely high, but I think the surgical result came out just as well.

They said we still need to keep watching the swelling. Is there anyone who works out or exercises and has had rhinoplasty? If you have any experiences about when it’s good to start, please let me know.
