When I went to hospitals for double eyelid surgery consultations, every hospital I visited asked what I thought about getting under-eye fat repositioning too,,, I do have pretty dark circles under the aegyo-sal area, and I’ve often been told I look tired if I don’t wear makeup, so I had been considering it. But I’m wondering if there could be any side effects. For those who’ve had it done, did you have any side effects?? I’m also curious whether dark circles improve a lot after getting it done ㅜㅜ
oishi I’ve had lower-eyelid fat repositioning for about one and a half years now. If there’s any side effect, maybe only a slight change in the shape of the epicanthal fold? Not really visible, but it looks a little lifted.
별랑몽 Does lower-eyelid fat repositioning improve dark circles a lot?
익명 No side effects, and I only had the lower-eyelid area done—but it stayed the same.
댕댕용 I was also considering lower-eyelid fat repositioning because of dark circles, but it wasn’t effective for improving dark circles, so they told me to do lower-eyelid micro-fat grafting instead and I’m still undecided... I thought if lower-eyelid surgery is done badly, the epicanthal fold shape can change, so I don’t think I’ll do this one!!
시우랑 I think side effects are generally rare. Right after surgery you can have conjunctival edema, bruising, and blood-tinged tears, and may be uncomfortable for about 1 to 10 days. If vision becomes worse, it usually recovers with time, and blindness is very rare, which seems like an uncommon case.
먼가잘못됨 My mom had lower-eyelid fat repositioning at a place that seemed genuinely reliable. Still not sure about side effects yet… I’ve seen people saying it becomes bumpy if done wrong. It seems case-by-case, probably depends on the surgeon’s skill… just go to someone who does it well.

Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redoNov 1 What’s the problem here?
I had a revision with the buried-suture method, but the line feels like it has dropped too much compared with the beginning, so I compared it with photos from week 2. As the swelling went down, my upper eyelid stayed the same, so because of
