Review on day 3 after revision eye surgery!!! (also partly for my own records.. haha)
I had my first surgery 3 years? ago, and the line seemed to have become lower, so I got revision surgery. People around me really tried to stop me, asking why I was doing it... but if it keeps bothering me when I look at it, I guess there’s nothing I can do,,,
I told myself this would be the last revision surgery of my life and really searched online and went around to consultations a lot... and this is the hospital I finally chose. During my first surgery, I had no swelling at all, so maybe that’s why, but this time after the surgery I was seriously shocked because of the swelling... The line also seemed too high.. Still, from the day of surgery until now, day 3, I’ve been managing the swelling really intensely, and it seems to be going down little by little.?! This time I also had epicanthoplasty done together, so I’ll leave another review after the stitches are removed.
As for the surgery review.. I just fasted for 4 hours, went in, had a consultation with the director, got anesthesia, was told to open my eyes in the middle, and after that I don’t remember anything.. When I opened my eyes again, I was in the recovery room haha But I felt this during the consultation with the director who treated me too, he was extremely, extremely meticulous.. (That was also one reason I chose him, because when I searched online people said he was meticulous!) For my first surgery, I think they just marked the design quickly, I went into the operating room, and they anesthetized me right away. But this director designed it very meticulously both before going into surgery and in the operating room.. so I guess that made me trust him more..?
Anyway, after that I came home and have been diligently managing the swelling until now.. haha
