Before <after grafting> Is there anyone who was curious what it would be like to do under-eye aegyo-sal with fat grafting? Most people seem to get aegyo-sal filler, but I did it with fat grafting.
I had full-face fat grafting + added aegyo-sal separately, and even the clinic didn’t exactly seem like they were confidently recommending it lol (when I asked them to show me before-and-after photos of aegyo-sal, they only had oneㅎ But in the photo, it looked well done)
I didn’t want filler, and when I’m not smiling I basically have no aegyo-sal at all, so I went ahead with it hoping I’d get even a little bit.
I added it on the day of my nose surgery, so honestly I didn’t even research it properly and just got fixated on aegyo-sal and did it impulsively. On the first day, my satisfaction was at its highest because I was thinking I now had aegyo-sal, but then I started getting anxious, wondering if there’s a reason no one else really does this... lol
When I looked it up, there wasn’t much information, and in the little information I could find, there were a lot of comments like it disappears quickly, the under-eye wrinkles sag, and even filler, which is visible immediately, is difficult, so with fat grafting it’s unpredictable how it will settleㅠㅠ I suddenly got anxious after hearing it can cause wrinkles..... Noㅠㅠ
<Under-eye aegyo-sal fat grafting photo> This is how it looks 5 days after doing it, and the right side seems to have settled into a good shape, you know? They said about half of it will go down from here. But the left side doesn’t seem to have taken shape well. It feels uneven. If the shape doesn’t come out, there’s also a second grafting session, so I think I can shape it more then.... I’m really, really hoping the aegyo-sal I wanted comes out without any eye wrinkles or sagging!! ㅠㅠ
+ The cost was about the same as the full-face fat grafting. Super expensive. Since I was already doing full-face grafting and just adding one aegyo-sal area underneath, I wondered if there was really a reason for the separate cost to be that expensive... Cost-wise, I do feel like I got taken advantage of...ㅎ
