While looking into lateral canthoplasty, I saw many reviews saying that canthoplasty itself has serious side effects, so I really agonized over it... After only researching online, I narrowed my list down to about 8 places and went to consultations in person. At other plastic surgery clinics, the consultation was about 5 minutes at most, and even after I came out of the consultations, I still didn't feel sure. But at this clinic, the consultation was almost 30-40 minutes, and the consultant and Director Oh Hyun-bae explained the parts I was worried about really thoroughly!! Especially because the director showed confidence in the surgery, I thought I could trust him!!
But I wanted to get lateral canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty, and they said only lateral canthoplasty was possible there, so I hesitated a bit... Then they said they could do a virtual simulation with Anygma View, so I applied for it. After I applied, the director personally recorded and sent me the before-and-after simulation! When I could visually check the surgical result the director had described through the virtual simulation, after receiving it, I immediately thought, this is the clinic, and decided haha
The reason I had hesitated was because I wanted lower canthoplasty too, but I think that was really a pointless concern! The director's surgical method, 3Way lateral canthoplasty, can give a lower-canthoplasty effect with lateral canthoplasty alone, so I was able to complete the eye shape I wanted!!!
I booked the surgery right away that week, and had the first surgery slot on the day of surgery~ I arrived a bit early, and only the director was there?? Seeing that made me trust the clinic even more because I felt the director really manages everything personally!
From the preoperative consultation to the surgery and recovery time, it took about 2 hours! After surgery, I only had a slight pulling sensation on both sides of my eyes, and there was no pain at all!
I had no conjunctival swelling at all, and even though I didn't drink swelling tea or pumpkin juice or anything like that, there was almost no swelling, so I could return to daily life right away! But when I went to get the stitches removed on day 10... this was honestly much harder than the surgery or recovery... The stitch removal really hurt so much.
It's been 1 month now, and you can clearly see that the length of my eyes has changed, right??? Doesn't the actual result look really similar to the image I received from the virtual simulation??
I'm so satisfied x100, to the point that I tell friends around me that if they're going to get lateral canthoplasty, they absolutely have to do it here!!
