I had inflammation in my nose after my 3rd surgery with autologous rib cartilage, so the nasal tip dropped a lot, and as an AS revision I had a 4th surgery with autologous rib cartilage. It’s been one month now, but I got inflammation again and went in for irrigation ㅠㅠ lol ha, is there anyone like me? When I look it up, a lot of people say that once inflammation happens, it keeps happening and you have to remove it, and I’m worried it’ll droop again. The autologous rib scar is there as its own scar, and if I do it again it’ll be a 5th surgery. I really feel like I’m going to go properly insane. The director is kind, but during the first inflammation the clinic manager ignored all my messages, and the manager has changed several times now, but replies are so slow and I don’t like any of the managers here ㅠㅠ The nasal bridge doesn’t swell, only the front part of the columella keeps getting inflamed. I’m so stressed, sorry for posting so incoherently ㅠ anyone with a similar experience to mine ㅠㅠㅠ
코우비류 It might be expensive, but have you tried changing hospitals? I think this could also happen if the surgical method at the hospital doesn’t match your case.
거믄고냥 [@코우비류] Right now I’m taking antibiotics and even had antibiotic IV fluids, and it’s settling down. ㅠ But if it settles and then gets inflamed again and collapses, I’m going to do it at another hospital... I’ve had 3 surgeries at one hospital, and now I just can’t trust them.
워니다옹 [@거믄고냥] ㅠㅠ.. I had inflammation, and after leaving it for almost a year I had a revision 3 weeks ago. I know carrying on without removing it feels like hell, but the nose could be damaged if the implant stays in an inflamed nose. The longer you keep that implant there, the higher the chance it gets worse. The nose needs a period of rest. I think it’s better to remove it and wait.
거믄고냥 [@워니다옹] But isn’t removal supposed to be the first thing the hospital brings up? They still haven’t said anything about taking it out yet. ㅠㅠㅠ
익명 If inflammation repeats, I think I would remove it. I know the chance of getting inflammation again is higher too. I don’t want to keep living in anxiety, so I feel like I’ll remove it. ㅠ Fighting...
거믄고냥 [@] That’s one option, but I really hate the thought of the nose looking ugly. ㅠㅠㅠ Seriously. ㅠㅠ Having to wait another 6 months after removing it is also hard, so I’ll keep thinking about it.
거믄고냥 [@지숑] Hmm.. I also thought it was a scar at first, but when I pressed it, it felt soft and wobbly. After leaving it alone for a while, it ended up discharging pus.... ㅎㅎ
sadffa Have you improved yet after irrigation, by any chance?
거믄고냥 [@sadffa] The nose tip is still red, but it seems to be improving. I think we need to watch it a bit more before knowing for sure. ㅠ
sadffa [@거믄고냥] I hope you get better soon ㅜㅜㅜ Did the hospital say it seemed to be improving?

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I was quoted 23 million won... is this right...
I got quoted 23 million won at OO for all autologous costal cartilage.. They say it would be 18 million if I write a review ㅠㅠ Is this right? Since I have a history of 3 surgeries if I include the AS revision, I expected it to be in the ten

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
Just as the title says…..
