Before<Before surgery>After<2 months after surgery>I was born with double eyelids, so I didn’t particularly have complaints about my eyes. But my eye-opening strength was weak, and only when I wore makeup did my eyes seem somewhat clear. By my standards, my eyes seemed okay with makeup on (by my standards lol;;) But without makeup, my eyes looked dull and as if I was opening them in a half-closed, sleepy way, so I got surgery.
When I first considered eye surgery, I agonized a lot over whether to do it or not, and whether there was really any need to. I was worried that if I had surgery for no reason, even my existing double eyelids might get ruined and my eyes might become even stranger, or the surgery might not go well. I was also worried and distrusted surgery. If it could be done really 100% perfectly, I would get it, but I thought there is no 100% success in cosmetic surgery, and as I started worrying for all sorts of reasons, I began to lose the idea of surgery again.
Then I just went back to browsing reviews, and among the reviews I saw one double eyelid surgery review with eyes exactly similar to mine. But that person’s result was so good, and in the review they wrote that the time spent worrying was a waste, and after seeing the post saying to just get surgery quickly during that time, isn’t it better to live with pretty eyes, since you only live once, I started thinking maybe it would be better to live with eyes I like, like that person.
The time I was spending worrying started to feel wasteful. So as soon as I decided on surgery, I looked through all the clinics at the speed of light, and eventually chose a clinic and even had the surgery. As for the result, just like the person who wrote that review said, I ended up thinking the time spent worrying really was a waste. There wasn’t a huge change from my previous eyes, but because I pursued a natural look, I think my eyes came out naturally, and I’m satisfied because the dull, half-closed-looking eyes that bothered me the most seem to have become clearer.
