1. Swelling really varies from person to person. My friend’s swelling was completely gone in two weeks, but I lived with sausage eyes for six months.
2. After the procedure, for some reason I don’t know, my eyes hurt a lot when I was in the sunlight. It felt like someone was poking them with a knife. So when I went for walks, I held my little brother’s hand and walked with my eyes covered. It lasted three or four days, and at first I thought it was a side effect, so I was really worried.
3. I’ve tried both local anesthesia and sedation anesthesia, and I definitely recommend sedation. I felt like I was going to die during local anesthesia. The stabbing pain made me cry nonstop, and that vivid sensation was really scary. I was sweating buckets too.
