They said they had a surgery scheduled at my reserved time, so they pushed it from 12:00 to 5:30. But even then, they said the director had a surgery before me, so I would have to wait a bit~ so I waited, and after I finished all the consultations and came out, it was a little past 6:40. I consulted with the consultant, waited, consulted with the director, waited, and finally consulted with the consultant again. (It felt like all together it was a little under 30 minutes)
I had double eyelid surgery by incision 4 years ago, and the line had faded a lot, so I went. The space between my eyebrows and eyes is close, so the line I wanted looked difficult to do. I don’t think they really asked either.
I consulted with the consultant first. They said my skin is thick, and even though it’s only been 4 years, the incisional line has faded, so they recommended incision rather than natural adhesion. They held the line with a toothpick and talked about various things, but I don’t know if it’s the limitation of my eyes; whatever line they made, it looked similar. They said I have a habit of using my forehead to open my eyes, so I also need ptosis correction, yup, and that if it becomes a problem later, I might need a forehead lift.
I waited outside and then consulted with the director. Maybe because they came right after finishing surgery, I felt some sort of rushed feeling. I pursue a natural look, but they said that if I have revision surgery, I might look slightly fierce (because of the characteristics of my eyes). They said some people want that, but there are people like me who want a natural look, so they asked. And they kept holding the line, but maybe because I didn’t react much, they said that because my skin is thick, it seems like the only method would be to make it darker following the existing line. (Maybe also because every line they held looked similar) Then I went okay….. and the director left, and I was left alone in the consultation room for about 5 minutes.
The consultant came back in and asked how the consultation with the director was, and said that the director is really good at eye surgery, so I could trust that part. (I didn’t really think anything, but because they said that for no reason, I was like lol?)
According to the consultant, they said they use sleep anesthesia + local anesthesia together. Hearing that, I was a bit like huh? I wondered if it was necessary to use both together. And maybe because of what was mentioned above, they said it would probably be by incision, and with ptosis correction (because of my eye-opening habit), revision incisional surgery is 3.8 million won and ptosis correction is 800,000 won, so the total is 4.6 million won~ I was shook but let it pass. And I don’t remember exactly, but they said if I did a review in this community or elsewhere and booked the same day, it would be around 3.3 million won, so I was like okay. Since I was only planning to consult, excluding same-day booking, the total was roughly 3.6 million won. They separately wrote this on a business card and gave it to me. Then bye
There was no consultation fee. But now while writing this, I checked the business card again, and it says 4.18 million won, which I’m hearing for the first time. Either the consultant said it wrong, or wrote it wrong, one of the two. On the business card it says incision (revision) ptosis correction: 418m -> 360 partial notice, review, like this.
I went once because people said they were kind, but they weren’t kind enough to write in a review. Just about average? Maybe my impression dropped because the wait was long, but even excluding the waiting time, personally I thought, do I really need to? The price is high too, but I really went for consultation purposes, so I don’t think I’ll have surgery here.
