I wondered if pin removal surgery was really necessary, but after contouring surgery, I suddenly developed sinusitis and had been taking medication for over a year, which was really exhausting. It was hard because I wondered whether I would have to take this medication until I died, and I kept having discomfort such as continuous stiffness and persistent pain in my left cheekbone, so I decided to have surgery in a hurry. The hospital where I originally had contouring surgery seemed like a factory-style clinic, so the aftercare wasn’t very good, and somehow I didn’t trust them, so I excluded it from my list of pin removal hospitals from the start. After that, I visited two private clinics with high recommendations on cafes and plastic surgery apps (Arc and one other place) for consultations. But Director Kwon Soonbeom empathized with my concerns and spoke honestly about the areas I wanted improved, so I immediately decided on Arc. On top of that, the consultant was really, really kind, which was nice. While consulting with the director, I had already made up my mind to do it here lol, but even after the consultation with the director, the consultant didn’t pressure me into surgery at all and kindly told me until the end to contact them anytime if I needed anything, so I felt even more that I should do it here. What I felt right away when I went to the hospital on the first day was that it smelled really good, and it felt like I had come to a hip and pretty cafe. On surgery day, as I was entering the operating room and looking around here and there, I thought the facilities were really good, so without realizing it I said to the consultant, “Wow, the facilities here are really good” ..ㅎㅎㅎ When I saw that there was even a painting hanging in the powder room, I thought the director must have a good eye for interior design. Hoooonestly... I had resolved that after pin removal surgery, I would walk a lot and eat liquid foods to properly reduce the swelling!!! But... it was so cold that I didn’t even want to go outsideㅠㅠ lol Since I had managed swelling once after contouring surgery, I thought it would be fine and ate ramyeon the day after surgery;; I probably swelled even more because I moved less than usual and just kept eating, but even so, compared with contouring surgery, it was really nothing. I barely swelled and it didn’t hurt either. I’m the type who usually swells and bruises a lot, but I didn’t have any bruising either. Maybe there wasn’t much swelling because they did the surgery well.
