Hello! Thanks to getting a lot of information from this community and safely finishing my surgery, I also wanted to be helpful, so I'm posting a surgery review! For my nose surgery, rather than wanting a completely different image, I only wanted to make my drooping nasal tip more defined and reduce my bulbous nose, so I had surgery only on the nasal tip without an implant.
They supported the columella only with septal cartilage, raised the nasal tip, and repositioned the cartilage They also slightly rasped down the protruding hump
It's only day 9, so the hump area is full of bruising and swelling.. It seems like other people aren't this bad, but I bruise and swell very easily, so it can't be helped ㅠ My nasal tip is still puffy and rounded from swelling too, so I really can't post a front-view shot ㅠ But the blunt nasal tip has definitely become much slimmer from the front too For now, I'm relieved that the drooping nasal tip seems to have lifted naturally Now only the fight with swelling remains
I didn't really know while living my life, but after the consultation I found out that my columella was very crooked It had been quietly stressful that the left side and right side of my face felt different, and during the consultation I learned the big reason was that my columella was crooked and the cartilage shape on both sides was different, so the shape of my nose differed on the left and right. I decided to have surgery at a place that said improving this part was the most important!
On the day of surgery, you talk once more with the director in the consultation room about the surgical method and then enter the operating room~ After sleep anesthesia, they do local anesthesia, and surgery is performed while you're awake, but it's not as scary as you might think. Rather, hearing the director's voice felt reassuring lol I think it's good that you can check the shape once before the final suturing! Even though it's very swollen now, I'm not too anxious because I have the shape I saw then Even when you're in the recovery room after it's over, the director keeps coming and going to check on you You visit on day 1, day 2, and day 7 after surgery, and each time the director personally checks the nose, removes the cotton packing, provides treatment, and you also get antibiotics and swelling injections before leaving~
