After<right after surgery, when I got home>After<not sure if this was immediately after or not.. photo with eyes closed!>Before<week 1>Before<photo from when I had monolids>Before<day 10>Before<day 11>Before<week 3>Before<about 4 months!>My younger sibling got double eyelid surgery first in January, and then I wanted to get it too, so I researched a lot I was born with monolids, and my eyes looked a bit sharp, so much so that my ideal type was always someone with pretty, glamorous eyes.. I like glamorous eyes So I really wanted a semi-out line, but my friends said it wouldn’t suit me, so I even considered a high in-out line...( They seriously tried to stop me from getting double eyelid surgery itself, but after I actually got it, my best friend was like, "I’m really glad you did it, honestly I thought it wouldn’t suit you, but it suits you so well;;" Like... just ^^) Anyway.. But when we actually tried shaping the line, the director said it suited me! Not too high of a line! That’s what I did I also deliberately chose a clinic that does things naturally and harmoniously!
Swelling Turns out my swelling goes down slower than my younger sibling’s. Around exactly week 3 to week 4, the noticeable puffiness disappeared, I guess? Personally, I took swelling medication diligently only until week 1, then I felt like it had no effect lol so I stopped taking it lolololol Up until week 2, I seriously took swelling photos every day and then gave up lololol After that I only took photos when I had a reason to take selfies lol Maybe because of that, I started to feel the swelling going down.. I got swelling laser treatment twice! (I think I got it around week 1) For walks, it was just walking my dog, so I think I walked about 1 hour every day (did that until week 2)
Why I chose the clinic I preferred a one-doctor clinic (aftercare and follow-up care were also my top priority), and there really weren’t many reviews, so I thought I’d decide based on how they shaped the line for me.. As I’d heard, both the consultant and director were super kind. When I said I wanted a semi-out line, they said, "It’s a line that isn’t easy to pull off, but it suits you. I think you can do semi-out, and you need an upper epicanthoplasty so the front of the line is visible." The director usually recommends natural adhesion, and recommended natural adhesion for me too. They said incision was optional, so I seriously debated between incision or natural lol But I thought I might need revision someday, so natural adhesion would be better, and just went with natural adhesion. On surgery day, I sat in the consultation room and they shaped the line for me, and they spent about 20-30 minutes on it. I was actually fine with it, but I was surprised the director checked it even more meticulously lololol They also played music during surgery~ The operating room wasn’t cold
Stitches When removing them, the director came in and checked my progress too! The removal was done by the nurse? who had gone into the operating room with me! Only the upper epicanthoplasty stitches were removed, so it didn’t hurt at all After getting my stitches removed, I also got Botox here lololololol
