I’m a man in my 40s, and I got 400 shots of Ultherapy. Honestly, my skin is very thin, so I worried a lot about whether it was the right thing to do... but in the end, I felt it was probably the right choice, so I went ahead with it.
I had a fairly bad double chin, and one of the causes of my nasolabial folds was also sagging skin coming down from above.
I was told I would need about 400 shots of Ultherapy, so I had the procedure. I’m a bit sensitive to pain, so I was worried it would be hard and had anesthesia for about 1 hour and 10 minutes? before going in, but the Ultherapy was finished easily with almost no pain. When I asked the doctor, they said a new Ultherapy standard for Koreans has come out recently, and the trend is not to set the intensity very high. I think mine was done at about intensity level 2.
Right after getting Ultherapy, I could immediately see an effect where the flesh above the nasolabial folds had slimmed down... For 1-2 weeks right after the procedure, my jaw area was very swollen, so my face looked like a square jaw, and at first I thought the procedure had gone wrong. ㅠ Once the swelling went down, I could clearly see that the lifting had been done properly... and I felt, so this is the Ultherapy effect...
