Before<before surgery>After after<after surgery>The height at the glabella and forehead starting point seemed okay, but compared with that, my nasal bridge was low and long, which stressed me out. I wanted to somehow fix the way my midface looked long, but putting in silicone felt burdensome, and I was worried that if I put in an implant for no reason, my philtrum might look even longer, so I decided to raise it naturally instead
For the nasal tip, I used donated costal cartilage, and they said it was a bridge, so to correct the step-off, they connected the nasal bridge and nasal tip with something like a graft bridge..!! I was really worried about the height difference that can happen when shaving down a hump, but there was a way to resolve it like this, thankfullyㅋㅋ
-Swelling Even at one month, the swelling was still pretty full, so I wondered how I could get it down... I walked a lot.. For short distances I always walked, and even on days I didn’t go out, I made sure to walk 30~40 minutes. I think I saw more effect from drinking swelling juice than swelling tea (for reference)
-Shape The parts I’m most satisfied with are that the nostril wings that looked spread out have come together, and that the nasal bridge looks natural. If I had put in silicone, I think it would have been too flashy for my face and wouldn’t have suited me.. I think I did well not listening to other friends (people around me told me to make it high since I was doing it anyway..) and just pushing ahead with the aesthetic I wanted... The director also said that even without implants, it could come out with enough height, so I did it with confidence. It seems like the surgery turned out in a way that looks like I did and didn’t do something, like “you got a little prettier..?” “Did you do something to your face?”ㅋㅋ
-Wrap-up Since I had nose surgery without putting in an artificial implant, I didn’t worry about inflammation or contracture and could sleep with my legs stretched out. The swelling will go down with time someday.. Right now, the features that had somehow looked vague became clearer and more dimensional after slightly raising the nose, so I just hope this exact height stays..
For everyone here who has had implant-free nose surgery, can I assume the height only comes down as the swelling goes down until 3 months? I’m now entering my 4th monthㅇㅅㅇ I’d be really grateful if anyone could share information
