When looking into revision eyelid surgery, people say it’s best to look for places with as much experience as possible. I’m still researching online, but when I looked at the doctors’ experience at the places I’ve saved, ㄸㅋ, ㅊㅇ, ㅈㅇㅈㅇ all of them have nearly over 15 years, you know? But for the standard of “a lot of experience,” how many years or more counts as having a lot of experience..?? While researching online, sometimes even hospitals with name recognition only have doctors with around 8-9 years of experience..ㅠㅠ Should I exclude places like that no matter what?
익명 When I was looking into revision surgery, I looked for doctors who had been specialists for at least 20 years. Having a lot of experience doesn’t automatically mean they’re good, and having less doesn’t automatically mean they’re bad, but because it was revision surgery, I became more cautious. I think 15 years is just about average.
lololkkk It’s good if they have a lot of experience, but experience isn’t everything.. Look into it more carefully! I think you’re generally looking at the hospitals well.
유은빈 No, that’s not necessarily the case. If it matches your preference, I think it’s okay to at least go for a consultation!!
해바라기씨 Having a lot of experience doesn’t automatically mean they’re good.. In the end, carefully checking reviews first and then going around for in-person consultations was the most accurate for me. ㅇㅇㅋ gave me the most thorough and longest consultation, so I’m planning to do my revision surgery there.
뮤지컬꿈 Still, I personally think they should have at least 10 years. I think you’re looking at hospitals well so far, and if you want to look at more, adding the two doctors ㄴㅅㅎ ㄱㅈㅎ / ㅍ ㄱㄷㄱ would be okay too. They’re doctors I’m looking at, and both their experience and reviews are good.
나이뽀? For me, experience matters, but I also booked consultations with hospitals that had good reviews (Ilmiri, Banni, Sisen). Rather than excluding places unconditionally, I think it’s also okay to focus on hospitals that give detailed consultations well.
디지뭉 It may not be all about experience, but since I’m also getting revision eye surgery, I’m trying to look for places with reviews I like while also including lots of experience as much as possibleㅠ The two places ㅊㅇ and ㄸㅋ overlap with mine.
유유안안 Personally, I think around 8-9 years is okay too. And it definitely seems like younger doctors are the ones who know the trendy lines these days!
