After/after/before Honestly, nose surgery was love-hate for me;;; When I got my first nose surgery, my self-esteem was beyond words.. I was really depressed, then irritated, and my mood swings were so severe.. Then I thought I should at least once live with a nose that looks pretty to my eyes, so I gathered courage again..
So after deciding on revision surgery, with the mindset that there absolutely would be no next time, I searched hospitals and directors and went for consultations. The reason I chose Director ㅎㄷㅎ was that he understood well the parts I wanted to improve, and he carried out the consultation tailored to me without excessive recommendations. That was what I liked the most among the hospitals I consulted at. Especially because it was a hospital I chose after looking at so many reviews.. I also got this strong feeling that it would go well.
So on the day of surgery, I was so nervous that my older sister came with me, so I went into the operating room feeling a little more reassured than during my first surgery. I feel sorry saying this, but in practice the consultant manager took such good care of me that I ended up relying more on the manager than on my own sisterㅠ hahaha. After surgery, they gave me lots of tips on how to care for it, how to reduce swelling, and so on. After recovering, I listened to the explanations and was discharged smoothly. As for pain, on the first day and the next day after surgery, I only had a bit of an aching(?) feeling, and during revision surgery the pain seemed relatively less than the first time.
Also, friends who had nose surgery using rib cartilage scared me by saying it hurts a lot, so I was worried. But aside from some discomfort really early on, I didn’t feel like it was extremely painful, and after enduring about a week, it was to the point that I felt fine!
Anyway, I wasn’t satisfied with my first surgery, but I’m really glad I didn’t give up and got revision surgery. I want to once again tell Director ㅎㄷㅎ that I’m very grateful^-^
