I was going to get a Brazilian wax, but I heard that people with weak skin can have skin peeling, so I decided on laser hair removal, and now it's been 4 months since the treatment!
I can't upload photos..ㅎ but the effect has been good, so I'm writing this. First, I got it done at an obstetrics and gynecology clinic, and the director who performs the procedure said she gets it done every time too, so I felt reassured at first. And because I wanted it to be hygienic, I chose non-contact hair removal. The feeling is like being pressed and poked with a scratchy steel scrubber.. and the coolness felt at the end.. They said there is some principle behind it. Some people can't tolerate the pain and do it with numbing cream, but honestly it's tolerable.
After the 1st session, I wondered, does this work? But I was surprised seeing the hair fall out quickly. After the 2nd session, I started looking forward to it more. Before the 3rd session, hair growth had definitely decreased, but I started worrying whether 5 sessions would be enough. After the 4th session, I suddenly got the feeling that hair might not grow anymore now. Ahead of the 5th session, based on my experience, I feel like probably a veeeeeery tiny amount will grow, but it seems like I would need more than 5 sessions for it to be completely gone.
It's definitely hygienic when going to the bathroom or during menstruation, but if you are the type whose skin is really sensitive and who easily gets trouble or eczema, I think it's better not to consider it.
If anyone is planning to do it, I recommend definitely doing non-contact and asking them to be meticulous around the groin area where the leg folds too. Anyway, I recommend it.
