I had nose surgery because I had both a bulbous nose and a hump, but the blunt look is still there and now it has even drooped. The hump is slightly... uneven enough to bother me, so I looked into hospitals to get revision surgery while I’m at it.
1. ㅇㄹㅇ Director Lee 3D CT scan I consulted with the consultant first, and they checked what surgery I had before.. what my concerns were.. what I wanted.. and things like timing and budget for surgery. They asked if I had brought any photos. The director talked about materials and the surgical method, and explained what the plan would be.. and how the surgery would be done. Lastly, when consulting with the consultant, they told me what I shouldn’t do before surgery and what to be careful about after surgery. I got the cost information and left. I heard that if I want to see the CCTV, my guardian can watch it in real time during surgery, and they would let me check it as requested.. The number of surgeries per day differs depending on the type, but I heard that condition management is always included and they try to avoid scheduling surgery at late hours as much as possible. Recommended autologous costal cartilage / straight with a slight curve Sedation anesthesia, local anesthesia Swelling injection, laser, hot/cold pack provided, scar-tissue injection (if needed)
2. ㅂㄴㄴ Director Choi 3D CT scan Consulted with the consultant first. Here too, they checked my past history, and the consultant first took photos and explained while looking at them what kind of surgery would be good. They also drew on a pad. At first, it seemed like they were trying to listen more to my concerns, probably because it’s revision surgery..? They asked if I had brought any photos.. They also checked my budget. They asked a lot of different things while looking at the chart. The director came in and looked at the CT, checked how much more the nasolabial angle needed to be defined, what shape the nose should be made into, and the sense of length.. They also drew it on the pad and showed me again. I told them that the previous hospital recommended autologous costal cartilage. Director’s opinion: donated rib cartilage or autologous costal cartilage are both fine If I want to see CCTV, they can show it in real time Surgeries per day are also adjusted depending on condition here. If there are major surgeries, they usually only do about 2-3 cases.. Straight with a slight curve Sedation, local Swelling injection, laser, scar-tissue injection (if needed), self-care kit provided, sebum care
The atmosphere at both hospitals was really similar, so I’m even more torn. I do kind of want to visit a large hospital too.. Or maybe I should look around more at private clinics altogether... There is one place I’m leaning toward more, but I’m still trying to be more careful ㅠㅠ
Sympathy emoticon
