Before <pointy> After <restored to rounded-pointy> I had epicanthoplasty restoration surgery in midsummer, so it has now been over 4 months
At first, I wrote a post because there was quite a bit of swelling when I went to get the stitches removed, but now even the long scar that had been at the inner corner of my eye is almost gone
When I had double eyelid surgery + canthoplasty 2 years ago, the inner corners were made way too pointy, so I was told I looked like I was glaring, and because the lacrimal caruncle was visible, my dryness was severe too Especially in winter like now, I would walk around tearing up a lot because of the windㅠㅠ I was scared of having surgery itself because I was afraid it might get even worse from here, so I had never thought about restoration, but after seeing everyone here who had similar concerns to mine improve, I made up my mind and just went for it.. (If anyone is thinking about surgery, please think it through really thoroughly ㅠㅠ !!)
My top priority was [getting a softer impression], so I wanted rounded-pointy, or even just rounded? if possible, and I visited a lot of clinics with aesthetics similar to what I wanted, but the prices were all over the place ㅠ and the explanations were difficult for me too
I had a consultation with Director Hwang at Batang and also had the surgery there, and although the way he spoke was a little scary haha, he did not explain things in a difficult way. Since the most important thing is that the doctor is good at surgery, I found myself listening carefully to whether he could create the inner corner shape I wanted And above all, there were no extra costs.. When you go around for consultations, it can be bewildering because the cost differs from what you expectedㅠㅠㅠ Seriously, why do they do thatㅠ
Oh, and before the consultation, they showed me a simulation of how the inner corners of my eyes would change, and I could immediately see what I liked and disliked, so it was definitely different from just looking in a mirror At many clinics, they just have you look in a mirror and tell you it will turn out like this, but when they simulated it using a photo of my own eyes, it really hit me haha
I saw in other reviews that with restoration, you have to watch it for up to 1 year (they said it can open up and stuff..) so I am being careful as much as possible with expressions that might strain or irritate the eyes, like opening my eyes wide! Just in case Please, I hope it does not open up..ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ desperately...
