Before getting into the review, to write down what was discussed during the Ulthermage consultation: as skin elasticity had decreased, my facial contour had collapsed, and because of that my face looked wide. The director said Ultherapy is good for tidying sagging areas, so for the lower-face line mainly, 400 shots of Ultherapy, and for the lack of elasticity in the midface, 300 shots of Thermage for tightening. I followed that opinion and got it done last week.
1. On the day of Ulthermage, I had it under sleep anesthesia. Before anesthesia, they explained the design once more and also confirmed that they were using genuine tips. After anesthesia ended, I received various things like porridge, cookies, water, a sheet mask, soothing ointment, etc. They explained the precautions verbally, but maybe because of the anesthesia, I could not remember them wellㅠㅠㅋㅋ When I got home and checked, they had separately sent the precautions by textㅋㅋ
2. The day after Ulthermage, my chin area (the area treated with Ultherapy) throbbed, so it was a little uncomfortable when opening my mouth. Thermage did not hurt in particular, and my face was swollen overall.
3. Day 2 after Ulthermage: the swelling looked a little worse than yesterday, but it was not severe swelling up to under the eyes; it was more like my face looked plump? I did a sheet mask and managed hydration and moisturizing. When I had time, whether at home or work, I went out and walked for about 10 minutes then came backㅋㅋ
4. On day 3 after Ulthermage, I could feel the swelling going down. When I pressed my face, it had felt firm, but it became a little softer. The pain around the chin also decreased a lot.
5. Day 4 after Ulthermage: it felt more reduced than yesterday. The pain was similar, but the discomfort I felt when opening my mouth was gone.
