Before/after <1 week> after <about 1 month> after <about 1 month> after <about 3 months> after <about 3 months> after <about 3 months> As you can tell from the photos, I had a lot of facial fat My cheekbones stood out a lot, my chin was short, but I also had a square jaw I definitely thought my eyes had a pretty, glamorous line and my nose was decent enough But my overall face shape was a total mess, so it was seriously stressful
Even the consultations weren’t easy Because the real problem was the problem itself, just being told about possible effects or suggestions When I’d be paying a lot for surgery and would need to set aside two or three months for recovery, made me wonder if it might be better not to do it at all Honestly, I know I was a bit picky too, but if you’re going to have major surgery, I think you really need to be this thorough..
Actually, while going around for consultations then, I think some of my prejudice against large clinics was broken When people say “large clinic,” you usually think of a total factory-style, mass-produced surgery system, right? This might have been my own prejudice, but that’s how I felt until I actually went for consultations But once I actually went, large clinics had more advantages than I expected (I’m not telling you to go to a large clinic, just saying that was my experience)
First, I wanted to do facial liposuction as well, and since they perform many types of surgeries, it was possible to do facial liposuction together I didn’t do this, but if you want, being able to do eyes or nose at the same time while you’re already under anesthesia seems like a really big advantage Recovery would be a bit.. harder, but I think it’s good not to have to undergo anesthesia multiple times
And although I wanted facial contouring plus facial liposuction, general anesthesia was seriously freaking scary. Facial contouring alone was scary, and then adding liposuction too (I got more than 100 cc from my face too lololololol) But since the hospital was big and the safety system during surgery was really well set up, the whole feeling itself was different from having surgery at just a private clinic
So I decided on the surgery and got it done, and at week 1, because of the swelling, my chin looked shorter than before, so I was anxious Here too, I think this was kind of an advantage of a large clinic, because imagine how many surgeries they’ve done there When they explained that I should wait and see, I really was able to wait It felt kind of like getting a diagnosis from a university hospital, so I trusted them and waited lol
I also looked into renting a radiofrequency device and stuff like that, but that seemed a bit excessive So I just gently massaged with my fingers when doing basic care, and that was fine too For me, the swelling was all gone after about a month, and the sensation inside my mouth came back well too Anyway, my surgery really went well, and I think I also liked that the price was clean and straightforward without being inflated~
