Until about one week after surgery, there was a lot of swelling and I could only consume liquids, so it was difficult. But right after surgery, I could immediately see that my face had become shorter, and as my face became smaller, my eyes and nose stood out more. Even with swelling, my face looked smaller after surgery, so I was surprised. It’s hard to say the exact number, but after surgery, the length of my face decreased by almost about 10 mm. From the side, the protruding mouth area and my recessed chin have now improved beautifully; my mouth has gone in nicely and my chin has advanced, so I’m really satisfied.
It has already been over 3 months since the surgery now, and as the swelling goes down, I feel like my full facial line is coming out, so I’m very satisfied! People around me and my friends keep saying my face is looking better and better, so I’ve been feeling really good these days.
Honestly, double jaw surgery is a major surgery, so it took me a long time to decide, and I was also worried because the recovery time is longer than for other surgeries. But my recovery has been faster than I expected, and the result is good, so I feel very grateful to the director! I hope the swelling goes down a lot more soon and that I become better-looking.
