I went because of a hump nose + rhinitis
They said my hump nose was almost Western-level, top-tier in Korea… My nasal bridge is high, but the hump was severe. ㅋㅋㄹㅇ, ㅇㄹ, ㅍㄹㅈ, ㅊㄷㅊ, ㅇ이ㅂ, ㅇ앤ㅂ, 웨ㅇㅂ, ㅇㄴㅂ, these 8~! In conclusion, I’m deciding between ㅊㄷㅊ and 웨ㅇㅂ. Especially from ㅋㅋㄹㅇ to ㅍㄹㅈ, they said I needed osteotomy, but the other clinics said osteotomy wasn’t necessary, and I didn’t want to do it either, so I passed. I passed on ㅇㄴㅂ because they don’t do functional nose surgery, but Director ㅊㅁㄱ seemed good. I felt like he would do it naturally, so it was a shame ㅠㅠ ㅇ앤ㅂ really… didn’t fit me at all. They recommended correcting other things like a crooked nose and so on, and they also said we should operate on the nasal valve, which I hadn’t heard from other ENT clinics, so I passed. 웨ㅇㅂ talked about a sand plant? and said there would be less warping, but using costal cartilage feels a bit burdensome, so I’m thinking about it. It was my first time hearing that because my nasal bridge is high, I might have less septal cartilage, but their stance was conservative, so that also tempted me… ㅊㄷㅊ suggested using fascia and said it almost doesn’t absorb, but when I asked at another clinic, they said since it’s tissue in the end, it does get absorbed. That’s what I’m worried about!
