That was the first thing I noticed. Then I went into the director’s office for the consultation, and before I even sat down, the director looked at my face and said, “You’re here for ptosis correction, right?” so I thought, oh... not bad. The consultation covered double eyelids and the overall surgical direction. The director recommended an incision method, so when I asked what to do about scarring if I had an incision, they said they would provide laser care after surgery if the scar bothered me. And when I said I wanted lateral canthoplasty, they said that with my eyes, even if I did it, they couldn’t do much, and since my eyes were already long, I didn’t really need it anyway. Then I consulted with the consultant, and even though she only talked about the overall cost, I felt she was kind.
After that, I went to a few more hospitals, and they said I needed epicanthoplasty, so I was curious whether epicanthoplasty was possible here too and asked by text. The consultant first received my photos, asked the director, and then called me back with the answer. They said epicanthoplasty could be done, but if I was thinking about rhinoplasty, I shouldn’t do it. And since I’m a man, they said they didn’t particularly recommend epicanthoplasty, so I said okay, and as soon as I got that answer, I scheduled the surgery date.
Then on the day of surgery, the staff were kind to me again. They said the surgery would take about 1 hour, so I went in, but it took 2 hours. Still, it felt like they were doing it carefully. They kept checking symmetry and asking if anything was uncomfortable, and then the surgery ended.
After surgery, I didn’t swell much. A month later, some slight remaining swelling wasn’t going down well, so they gave me an injection.
As for the plastic surgery result, the height turned out well, but the shape feels slightly asymmetrical? Still, I’m satisfied
