At the end of July, I had my first revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage + silicone, and I developed a hump on the nasal bridge that I did not have before, with a severe protruding bump that was red. The nasal tip was crooked too.. So 3 months later, I got AS, but as soon as the taping came off, the same contour irregularity was palpable, and the nasal tip was still crooked.. I felt like my world was collapsing..ㅠㅠ So they said they would do an early correction, and just 2 weeks later I had a third open surgery again, but this time, instead of an irregularity, it was divided into two, and the area from the glabella to the nasal dorsum protruded as a lump.. On the day the splint was removed, they looked at it and said it was because I originally had a hump, and told me to get filler later and go home for now. lol
When I sent a photo of the irregularity, I got a reply saying it was swelling and to take Tylenol lolol ㅠ I feel like I am going to lose my mind, so I am planning to endure it for 3-4 months and then go around for consultations elsewhere. But re-harvesting costal cartilage feels burdensome..ㅠㅠ Is there anyone here who reused it during revision surgery?? Even if it is reused and there is no harvesting process, the cost will probably be the same, right?ㅠ
