Warning: informal review style In early summer last year, I had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty, and it came out to a little over 2 million won. With a review event(?), I got a discount and had the surgery for 1.8 million won in a lump-sum cash payment. It was sedation + local anesthesia, and in between the doctor woke me up and told me to open my eyes. But I don't know if the anesthesia didn't work on me, because midway through it was very, very, very painful and I could vividly feel my flesh being pulled apart... I usually don't exaggerate pain much, but I felt like I might die at this rate, so I asked the doctor to add more anesthetic. Even so, the pain continued... But from day 2, there was almost no pain at all. / The swelling went down faster than I expected, and "maybe because my eyelids are on the thin side," it went down even faster. / In the end, I'm about 88% satisfied. It's a little disappointing that the epicanthoplasty and ptosis were not greatly improved, but I look more like a normal person now(?), so I've decided to just live with it. Now my eyes feel so natural that I have completely forgotten I even had double eyelid surgery. No side effects at all.
