Ten years ago, after finishing the CSAT, I went around for consultations at several places, and this was the only place where the consultant said they would even include an epicanthoplasty event.. I did it impulsively, thinking it was good because I did not know any better. Other places said I should not get epicanthoplasty and that I should get lateral canthoplasty instead. For a long time after surgery, it was very hard. In the end, I had the epicanthoplasty reconstructed, but the double eyelid surgical scars are still there.. I just lived with it all this time because I did not want to touch it again. Looking back, the person who consulted me before surgery was an older director, but I think it was a place where newly licensed doctors passed through.
