Review of becoming asymmetric after surgery was performed opposite to the consultation

During the preoperative consultation, I requested a low and natural in-out line based on the height set by my previous surgery. I had a major event a few months later, and since it was revision surgery, I went for consultations three times. I repeatedly requested a low line. My eyelids are thin and the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, so I had only been looking into a low line, and we agreed to proceed with surgery.

The result was that they forcibly connected the line with the inner head 2 to 3 times higher than the height I had asked them to lower it to. They only took photos before surgery, and did not take any photos after surgery or before releasing the line at all. Even on the day of the non-incisional buried-suture surgery, they did not wake me midway to check it, and the entire surgery was finished while I was under sleep anesthesia. I had it released because the line was different from the consultation and because of the asymmetry.

Even though 3 months have passed since releasing it, the line remains, so you should be able to see the asymmetry and difference in the line. It is as shown in the photos.

I had requested a line that would connect naturally to the lower line under the inner head on the higher side. On the opposite side, the line did not disappear; it is just low, so it is not visible.

I complained of pain at the inner head of the line that had been set high and abnormal focusing, but they said it had occurred separately from the surgery, refused my request for a consultation with the director, and responded extremely defensively. Far from providing postoperative care, they said they had nothing more to say about my inquiries. After having the surgery, I spent the time in pain without knowing why it hurt, why the line had been set like this, or how long I would have to live like this. During consultations at other hospitals, plastic surgery specialists confirmed that it differed from the normal line a specialist would set.. This is still ongoing.

What hurts the most is that my parents are worried.. I was shocked because both the surgical result and the process were outside the range of what I could have predicted. Every night I had nightmares about suffering a medical accident, woke up at dawn, and could not sleep for months. Through this post, I hope you become alert about surgery, and if you feel that something is off, even if it seems minor, please avoid it well. I had horizontally long eyes, thin eyelids, and eyes of an appropriate size, so I never even thought it could go wrong, and I never imagined in my life that I would write a post like this...... If it is something you can avoid, please avoid it. If you end up spending each painful day because of something you did not have to go through, nothing would be sadder than that.
