After first having double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method in Apgujeong, I was satisfied at first, but as time passed, it changed into an inner double eyelid, and finally, around the 5th to 6th year, the double eyelid completely came undone and my eyes returned entirely to their pre-surgery state. In 2018, because a family member had previously had double eyelid surgery at a hospital near where I live (a provincial area), I had it redone there with incisional double eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty for the purpose of removing the epicanthal fold. At first I bothered the director a bit because I was worried about ending up with sausage eyes, but in the end, the more time passes, the more satisfied I am.
