I had eye surgery two weeks ago, and now I need to start on my nose, so I’ve been doing a lot of online research. Honestly, the two places I was drawn to were ㅇㄴㄷ / ㄹㅂㄹ. (I’ve been watching Dr. ㅈㅅㄹ at ㅇㄴㄷ since he was at OM.) (For ㄹㅂㄹ, about 6 months ago? I asked an acquaintance about their nose and they said ㄹㅂㄹ.)
My acquaintance had it done at ㄹㅂㄹ and it turned out insanely well, so I was debating it, + but that acquaintance was offered a cosmetic surgery model deal at ㄹㅂㄹ, so they may have done an extra-good job. I want the doctor to be super warm and emotionally supportive, like extremely Ffffffff,, But he doesn’t seem to be that type.
I was looking at ㅇㄴㄷ, but there were only really good reviews, so that actually made me anxious. Then by chance, a high school classmate had it done there recently,, seriously. I wondered if this was some coincidence sent from above, so I asked my friend everything. They said they were so, so, so, so satisfied that even if they were not an acquaintance but a broker, I would believe it. The consultant was not great, but the director was super sweet + they were extremely satisfied with the result (even to me, there was no swelling and the line was insane).
So I passed on ㄹㅂㄹ and went straight to ㅇㄴㄷ. Today I had a CT scan, had the consultation, and just paid the full surgery amount,, hahaha no backing out. (While waiting, I secretly glanced at patients who had surgery, and they looked amazing lol.)
I really think I understand why the director here has such good reviews. He is just the final boss of being unbelievably sweet.
For reference, this is revision rhinoplasty for me. For my first surgery, I knew nothing and just got it done, so seriously, I don’t think anyone’s nasal tip droops more than mine. I hate looking at my nose, so I never take side-profile photos. But that crazy guy turned out to be a family medicine doctor,, he still has “chief director” attached to his name, but I don’t think anyone here would ever have surgery with that director, so I won’t post the clinic here. If you’re curious, I’ll tell you in a private comment! ㅠㅠ
Donated rib cartilage + nostril lowering + severely crooked nose, anyway, and so on. They said my friend’s surgery was difficult too, but just looking at the CT, my nose is harder. I said I don’t need anything else, I just don’t want another revision surgery, and asked them to make sure my nasal tip doesn’t droop,, I was so scared I was about to cry (it felt like my nasal tip was protruding, so I even said I was scared when the director touched it lol).
And there are many reviews saying the consultant here is pushy? lol Maybe because I looked like I was about to cry, the consultant was kind too. Not soft-spoken and gentle exactly, but bright and friendly like a friend?? She said not to worry because she replies quickly except when she’s in consultations. Since I didn’t prepare many reference photos, she told me to definitely send lots of photos of the noses I want and noses I don’t want by personal chat. I’m satisfied!
I’m having surgery next Tuesday and will come back with before and after. (I feel like my current nose will make me spiral mentally, so I can’t take pictures,,) Everyone, revision surgery is really so physically and mentally painful, right..? Let’s all please make this our last surgery and become prettier. Let’s share all the good energy ㅠㅠ
+ It was consultant ㅇㅈ, and when I mentioned my friend’s name, the discount wasn’t huge but she gave me quite a bit. Infinite thanks lol
