Before <Pre-op 1> Before <Pre-op 2, especially having only one cheekbone larger was stressful.> After <Immediately after><2 months!><4 months!><6 months!> My protruding cheekbones have always been a complex of mine,
and after I lost weight, they looked even more prominent.
I originally had no intention at all of getting plastic surgery, but after dieting, whenever I looked at my face,
all I could see were my cheekbones ㅠㅠ
Normally, other people would look into hospitals, what the director is like, what side effects there might be, and go after thinking it over and over.
But I just went impulsively. I really didn’t stop by even one other hospital, and the one place I had at least looked around was this community, where I kept seeing a hospital with a lot of good posts.
So, somewhat impulsively? I went for a consultation the very next day.
It was a private clinic, not a large hospital, so the atmosphere was cozy and I could wait comfortably. The staff and the director were all kind in their responses, so I felt good!
What I still remember is that when the director asked if I wasn’t going to look around at other hospitals too, since it was also during COVID and I just wanted to quickly make a reservation and go home,
I said I hadn’t looked into anywhere else and had come only thinking I would do it here, and he laughed and joked, “What if I’m a bad director?” haha.
In that good atmosphere, I booked it for the following week right away, and I had the surgery the next week without any issues!
The surgery really didn’t hurt at all, and after I inhaled the anesthetic gas and closed and opened my eyes, the surgery was already over... It felt a little anticlimactic lol
Rather, what was really, really hard was not being able to eat what I wanted after the surgery!
Thanks to the director, the surgery went well. At first, because of the swelling, I wasn’t sure whether anything had changed before and after the surgery,
but as the swelling gradually went down little by little, I could really feel that my cheekbones had gone in nicely!
Honestly, I still have a little residual swelling, but I can feel it going down little by little every day!
After the surgery too, the hospital took good care of me, so I worried a bit less.
After surgery, if I heard something like a bone sound, I would fall into really anxious thoughts by myself,
but going to the hospital every 2 months to check CT scans regularly and consulting with the director made me feel reassured.
Once, only a few weeks after surgery, I kept hearing sounds from the side where I had the cheekbone surgery, so I got anxious and contacted the hospital,
and they made an appointment for me right away! I booked for the weekend, had a CT scan, and consulted with the director, and fortunately it was a natural sound that can occur during the process of the bone uniting, so I remember feeling relieved.
The director also said that, rather, I should tell the hospital about every little detail like that, and if I felt even slightly that something was off, not to hold it in! and to contact the hospital.
Now, thanks to this attentive care, I think it has settled well and united properly!
Of course, the skill is the skill, but I felt that each of these detailed services is probably why this place gets mentioned here often!
(It’s Taco Plastic Surgery Clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station!)
