It has now been about 10 months since surgery, and now it’s not noticeable to the point that even close friends wouldn’t know if I didn’t tell them.
At first, after surgery, I worried about side effects from facial contouring. For reduced sensation, there was a dull feeling until about one month, and it was difficult to brush my teeth or eat food smoothly, but after one month it seemed to gradually loosen up.
More than anything else, because of endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia, my sore throat was severe and seemed to last about 3 days. It was to the point that I couldn’t even swallow saliva. I think I had phlegm for about 7 days too. Because of this, reduced sensation, and swelling that lasted a long time, there were also times when I felt depressed.
But the counseling manager’s kind explanations with photos of swelling going down and encouragement put me at ease, and in the end I felt it was a battle with time. There was only one operating room, so it didn’t feel like a factory-style surgery, but like I was receiving customized 1:1 care. I stayed hospitalized for one day, and the nurses also responded kindly, so I slept well and was discharged.
I already knew Director Kwon Jae-hyun was said to be very good at surgery, but I’m so grateful that he carefully checked me afterward and performed the surgery well.
I’m in my late 30s, so I’m paying attention to elasticity and managing it more intensively.
I think the saying that the moment you think it’s late is actually the earliest time is right. If there is a part that bothers you, I’d like to tell you to have courage and become prettier.
