Before <before revision> after <after revision> after <after revision> before and after... putting them side by side, the difference is huge ;.. I’ll write about my revision surgery for loosened eyes! Honestly, while looking into revision eye surgery, I went around to consultations at several places, but because I had already experienced one failure, my standards became way~~ too high. Among those things, the most important thing was how thoroughly they handled the consultation. It wasn’t just that they explained things at length. I think I was more drawn to this place because they considered every detail one by one, like my skin type, eye structure, whether my eyes were protruding or sunken, and the reason my eyes became asymmetric, then made a surgical plan based on that. Honestly, if you go to consultations, you’ll know, but there are many places that just quickly mark a line and end it fast. Here, they even checked things like eye protrusion and showed it on the computer, so I liked that they checked this and that carefully!
Also, if you make an appointment in advance here, whether it’s a consultation or follow-up check, you don’t wait long, which was nice. Has anyone been to a factory-style clinic? Making you wait endlessly is seriously... And honestly, with big hospitals, there are so many doctors that I feel hesitant to go.. (is it just me?) I also have a few friends around me who had revision eye surgery, and they recommended that for revision surgery, I should go to a single-doctor clinic rather than a big hospital.
For the surgery, I only had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, and even though it was incisional, there wasn’t much swelling, almost like natural adhesion, and recovery was fast, so I was surprised;; Constitution may play a role, but they say if the surgery is done well, there isn’t much swelling, so I think the director is really skilled. As for pain, other than my eyes feeling a bit tight on the day of surgery, there wasn’t any. For a few days I slept with my pillow raised, and the clinic kept checking my eyes regularly, so I don’t think there was anything special I had to pay attention to myself.
Because my eyes were loosened, I was really worried the symmetry on both sides might not match, but it was corrected very cleanly. My first surgery was also done with a partial incision, so I was worried that doing revision surgery by incision would leave a scar, but there is literally no scar.. If I had known it would be like this, I should have done it sooner.. lol There are many eye surgery clinics, so I hope everyone really looks around carefully and decides!!
