First, my eyes are in this state: ‘2007 buried suture - right side loosened - 2009 buried suture AS - currently left side loosened’ Previously, I only had buried suture double eyelid surgery, and didn’t have anything like ptosis correction, canthoplasty, etc. I went to consultations at 9 clinics, and 5 places said both incisional/non-incisional are possible (and that non-incisional probably wouldn’t loosen easily either), 4 places recommended incisional, 2 places recommended fat grafting above the eyes, one place recommended a brow lift, and one place recommended ptosis correction.

I already knew and prepared myself for the long wait, so that was okay (it took 2 hours until the consultation ended), and there are stories that the director is scary and unfriendly, but during the consultation, although he wasn’t extremely kind, I didn’t feel he was unfriendly, and I felt like he gave a clear and professional diagnosis. “Both incisional and non-incisional are possible, so it’s my choice. If I don’t want it to loosen, go with incisional. My eyes are not the type where non-incisional would loosen easily either. But incisional doesn’t mean it will never loosen at all. Nothing else is needed + the line is between an in-out line and a semi line.”
It was one of the clinics that only told me what was necessary without adding other things, and the line he set looked pretty + his very confident attitude made me trust him, so I booked it... I made the right choice, right?
Other than that, I’m thinking of accepting and going along with things like the clinic being too complicated, the director being sharp and scary during surgery, and the director not checking the progress himself, as long as the surgical result is good.
