It was my first time getting Botox, and because I had much more jaw muscle mass than expected and was also feeling pain, they recommended increasing the dose so I could see effects for both treatment and cosmetic purposes, so I received the increased dose. At first, after the injections, both cheeks swelled a little like when I had my wisdom teeth removed, but as it gradually went down, the contour became nicely refined! But the issue was that the swelling seemed to go down unevenly on both sides, almost like asymmetry, so I felt anxious midway. Looking back after some time passed, I think the swelling just went down at slightly different speeds. I combined it with dieting, and later it seemed like my cheeks had become a little hollowed… ㅠㅜ But I’m not sure whether this was solely because of the Botox… For now, I’m very satisfied with getting it, and next time I’m thinking of going once more without increasing the dose!
